Arlene Sun is a visual artist who lives and works in New York and Beijing. Her works include installation, interactive design, and painting. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with an MFA in Design and Technology. Her works combine art therapy and organic elements, inspired by psychology, science, and philosophy, aiming to express the inspiration and energy of the deeper order of the universe that she perceives. Since 2016, Golden Spray Coating has become her main creative medium, combining interactive digital art and physical materials to present complex themes such as virtual species diversity and emotional texture. Arlene has held extensive solo and group exhibitions internationally, including works collected by public institutions.
